Your home at the End of the World

Who are we?

We are a family from Ushuaia who fulfilled our dream of having a business in the place where we were born and where we are grateful to live.

Mission: Our mission is to make our visitors feel at home, and accompany them during their stay so that they have a great experience from the beginning at the End of the World.

Personalized attention and hospitality are some of the things that our guests who have had the opportunity to stay with us value most.

Our core values are warmth in our service, practicality in every detail, and good hygiene in our facilities.

What does Anum mean?

Over ten thousand years ago, at the end of the world, lived a people…

A people who, among other things, worshipped fire, the basis of their survival, and even more important than food.

There was a moment when a small spark, that small flame they carried in their canoes and cared for as if it were life itself, would transform into a great fire around which they would gather.

That moment was the beginning, the light, the warmth, the life…THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING.

Legend has it that this very special moment was called ANUM and that, in that inhospitable land of long winters, where the hours of daylight were scarce and the strong winds punished, the cry ANUM used to resound between the mountains and the sea, an expression of gratitude, of unity, of continuity of life.

Elsewhere in the world, much later, Mesopotamian mythology tells that the Sumerians venerated ANUM as the father of the gods, the absolute, the god of the sky, the universal creator, who paradoxically, five thousand years earlier, for the inhabitants of the End of the World was that spark of fire that marked the origin, the beginning of everything.

Anum is a moment as eagerly awaited as that first spark that ignites a fire that gives warmth, and which, from the beginning, kept the End of the World alive.

We want your stay to be unforgettable from beginning to end.
